TOM SAVINI
Simply stated, Tom Savini is an icon. Even the novice horror cinema fan is capable of rattling off a lengthy list of movies from the Savini library.
Seen most recently in GRINDHOUSE, Tom has starred in LAND OF THE DEAD, FROM DUSK TIL DAWN, SPY KIDS, CREEPSHOW 2, and both versions of DAWN OF THE DEAD.
This horror virtuoso does not just act, though. Tom's special effects have been seen in the Friday the 13th films, as well as Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Creepshow,
and Day of the Dead. Tom is also a director, documentarian, and has voice acted on THE SIMPSONS. Determined cinematic effects artists turn their passion into careers at the Tom Savini Special Make-Up Effect Program.
It is an honor to have this master of the macabre at this year's Syracuse Heroes Expo.
ETHAN VAN SCIVER
Comic book mainstay ETHAN VAN SCIVER is the artist behind this summer's twice sold out blockbuster, SINESTRO CORPS.
Ethan has also provided pencils for GREEN LANTERN, SUPERMAN/BATMAN, and the X-MEN.
He has been featured in Wizard Magazine's Top 10 artists and he will be signing and sketching at SYRACUSE HEROES EXPO 2007.
Sketches are limited and are available on a first come/first serve basis.
BONNIE PIESSE
Native Australian Bonnie Piesse became part of STAR WARS mythos when she portrayed AUNT BERU in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
Someone had to raise Luke Skywalker with the morals to save the galaxy.
This beautiful young talent has also been building her career in music, as an artist with 321 Records. Her debut album will be available soon.
DAVE ROSS
Comic book talent DAVE ROSS has provided the pencils for Alpha Flight, Excalibur, Birds of Prey, Batman, Gen 13, The Flash, The Punisher
and a heck of a lot more. He has been named the new artist of the white hot STAR WARS:DARK TIMES title from Dark Horse Comics. This fan favorite will
be at the 2007 Syracuse Heroes Expo.
ANDRE GOWER
André was a focal fixture on the teen star set for almost 15 years. With the starring role in The Monster Squad André secured his spot as a cult movie star, with a large and dedicated fanbase twenty years later.
André now owns Cinema South, producing industry workshops, movies, and a film festival in the works, and has taken a break to help the fans celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Monster Squad and the special edition DVD release in July 2007 (ranked #17 nationwide its first week out in sales and sold out in 48 hours).
A member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the Writer's Guild, André has juried in prestigious festivals like Santa Barbara, where his vote went to a film that later won an Oscar (insert trademark).
Producer, writer, stuntman, teacher, director--André has truly experienced each level of the industry over the last 30 years and his advice and expertise is sought out by Hollywood veterans and indie newbies alike.
SCOTT L SCHWARTZ
Some actors have those leading man looks (George Clooney, Brad Pitt) and some actors are destined to be the bad guy. Scott L. Schwartz is the
"Ultimate Bad Guy". The actor's size, agility and ability to look mean have made him the perfect choice as the villain in such films and TV shows as:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Enterprise, Charmed, The Scorpion King, The Tick, Black Scorpion and a host of others.
The Israeli born actor grew up in Philadelphia where he played Football, Baseball and Ice Hockey. After college he became a professional wrestler.
Wrestling under the moniker of Joshua Ben-Gurion-The Israeli Commando, Scott toured the world and held many titles.
His stature and ability to perform made him a natural for the big screen.
He is probably most recognized for his role as The Bruiser in the films, Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12.
He has also appeared in such big budget films as Spider-man, The Flintstones:Viva Rock Vegas, Fire Down Below, Starsky and Hutch, Fun with Dick and Jane and others. He is also a favorite of Buffy fans having portrayed a Biker Vamp and Tapparrich on Buffy and the demon Deevak on the Angel television series.

Fan favorite POP MHAN has been the artist on titles like Batgirl, X-Men Unlimited, Robin, Outsiders, and The Flash.
His art was also featured in Pete David's Dark Horse title, SPYBOY, and his newest offering from Tokyopop, BLANK, is a runaway hit.
We are thrilled to be hosting him as a guest at the 2007 SYRACUSE HEROES EXPO.
TONY ISABELLA
Serving the comic book industry since the early 1970's, TONY ISABELLA has been involved with writing flagship characters like SPIDER-MAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, GHOST RIDER, and IRON-FIST.
He hasn't only written iconic characters, he also created some.
DC's BLACK LIGHTNING, and Marvel's TIGRA are both characters created by Mr. Isabella.
With titles like STAR TREK, THE DEFENDERS, THE AVENGERS, THE CHAMPIONS, HAWKMAN, WEREWOLF BY NIGHT, LUKE CAGE, and MOON KNIGHT under his belt, his credits are lengthy, as is his dedication to his fans. He runs Tony's Online Tips for WorldFamousComics.com.

BRINKE STEVENS is synonymous with the term 'SCREAM QUEEN' and is among the most recognizable and notorious actresses in the horror cinema genre.
Her amazing career spans over 100 movies, including the classics SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE and THIS IS SPINAL TAP.
Her body of work features titles like: Slave Girl From Beyond Infinity, The Vampire Hunters Club, American Nightmare, and Vampires VS Zombies.
She is also a talent behind the camera, as a producer, and her writing credits include Teenage Exorcist and Wild Spirit among others.
